Jack adapter frame
Greetings, it has been a while since I posted this and it seems like time to do it again. If you are tired of trying to lift your beloved 1500/1600 Nomad or Vulcan with a standard motorcycle floor jack because you don't like to use hockey pucks or wood blocks to keep it level then consider one of these adapters.
They pin to the frame tabs to hold them in place and provide a solid platform to lift the bike. I've sold a lot of them here without a single complaint. Rock solid platform. They are made from heavy square tube steel with tabs that are milled from solid steel blocks for strength and powder coated for durability. Color is random but never black, like the one in the picture, because it is too easy to drive off with these things attached to the bike and I want them to be visible. If you are interested in one send me an IM and I will forward ordering info. They are $85 shipped to anywhere in lower 48. This one is a prototype, the new ones are made from thicker steel. This pic is just to let you see the frame. Thanks, Idaho

Thought I would bump this back to the top. A lot of you have these now and like them. They really are the best way to raise the Nomad with a floor jack.

This adapter is great. I have been using it with jack stands. This gets the jack out of the way during oil changes. I can't post pictures since my pc went to Heaven. Had to borrow my daughter's laptop today. I have a shot with the bike up on the jack stands. I used two 36" square tubes inside of the tubing along the sides of the adapter and rested those on four jack stands.

TC, thanks for sticking up for me. We will just send the enforcers to see redjay. Ha.
Actually, I'm just kidding. I don't care if a guy makes one for his own use. They are handy.

Hi, If I remember correctly I made it with your blessing and I gave you a couple of ideas to make it cheaper. As for sending enforcers, they had better be big. My son is a 6' 7" hockey player. Seriously though, the jack adapter is a great idea that I would have bought but I have access to all the stuff needed to make one.

I just got one a few days ago. Great item, don't know how I did without it before. Oh wait,
I didn't lift my bike up before. It works as advertised. Thanks Idaho. |
