Where have you gone this summer?

Last week I got back from a trip thru 13 states and 5500mi. Saw the Calif coast (North), Crater lake, Yosmite, Yellowstone, Beartooth Pass and to many other places to mention. I hope to make to to Hot Springs and ride with Oldbikers if I can swing it. I know Custer was the trip for lots of you, and it sounded like a lot of fun, sorry I missed it. Where have you gone? Share some of the trips and sites. What was the high points and lows? Next year plans include South Central Rally and possibly Sturgis one more time.

The only places I have been was the South Central rally and Custer since I have been home from Custer the wife has had me working every day painting the out side of our house and other things. One day I did sneak away and ride over to Jim Dooley's house and back that was fun, got to see Jim & Annette and Jim rode about half way home with me had a great day.

Beside the Custer, SD. trip, Annette and I ride every other weekend (her weekend's off). We have rode the Ozarks in south central Missouri and north and central Arkansas. We normally make a trip over into Kentucky (Land between the Lakes area) atleast once a year, just haven't done it yet.

Now bear, thats my kind of riding. I also throw in rides to restaurants/bars.

In August, I did spend three weeks in Montana trying to stay away from the Texas heat. My Nomad stayed home.
