Cold outside, Fast idle question on 2007

Hello, this has happened twice so far. When it was around 50 degrees outside. I started the bike up and it idles fast for a few seconds then slows down to normal idle. I believe this is normal, but when I took off down the road at about 55 mph for about a mile and came to a stop light when I pulled in the clutch the bike rpm's shot up to a fast idle again. Only lasted around 15 seconds or so and slowed back down. Is this because the cold air being sucked in while going down the road? This happens when leaving work at night. It doesnt seem to want to do it again the rest of the way home. For instance I travel another 8 miles at 55 to 60 and come to a stop it seems alright.
Any ideas?
My only mods are a V & H exhaust, K & N filter, and Cobra 2000 Tuner.

If the light is near your house, then your bike is still in the process of warming up. It's going to happen until the bike warms up sufficiently, i.e. traveling 8 miles.

Normal......Fast idle solenoids have a mind of their own sometimes.
