Since my wife purchased her trike the need to have a trunk on my Nomad has diminshed greatly.
So I will be selling my Wompus rack and 84 Venture trunk, the trunk has not been fixed up yet and is partially disassembled to repair the cracks. I have been too busy with work and riding to find any time to complete the trunk project and frankly don't see me completing it any time soon.

So my loss is your gain.

SALE PENDING 84 Venture trunk w/ chrome Yamaha mounting rack asking $75 USD plus shipping

Yes I have the key for the lock.

Are you interested in the trunk only? Do you want to come down this weekend and look at it.

I have an inquiry from gary04 but I think it would be to costly to send it to Canada. I will get an estimate on shipping to Canada for Gary and send him some pic's this weekend when I am home.

You have first chance after Gary because you are close by.

I am interested in trunk only. I have one but would be interested in one with a good lock that may be in better shape than the one I have.
Is it unpainted, still the factory venture paint?

not sure about this weekend. Have family in town. I will check.

I am going to give OP the first shot at the trunk since he is close by, if he passes I will contact the next interested person.
I am really not interested in shipping outside the lower 48.

I will be off the board for a short time since my father in law has suffered a stroke this afternoon. That will keep me away for a while.

I will post next week sometime.

Hey kudzu, just to let you know, I have a trunk now but it is a bit rough. That is why I am interested in this one, to see if it is in better condition for repainting. Sounds like it may be next weekend before I can get down to look at it. Kioti is only about 20 miles from me. I am only interested in the trunk since i hav emade my own rack for the one I have, also a venture trunk by the way. Just wanted to let you know that there may not be any news for a week.

thanks OP....I am sort of in the opposite situation......I have a good trunk but need a rack to mount it too.....no problem on time....keep me updated

OK I am back!

OP you have first shot at the trunk, let me know when you want to have a look at it.

Gary04 has first shot on the rack if shipping to Canada isn't too expensive.

Kudzufarmer you have second shot at the rack only.

If these guys don't take these I will offer them again together.

ksheren is next in line for the rack and trunk.

Sorry to back out but my wife has informed me that she is 90% sure that she isn't going to ride anymore so my Nomad will be going solo. I now have less urgency to complete my trunk or worry about the condition that it is in.
