Send Nomad pics to Baggers Magazine

Hey all...The Nomad is in my opinion the finest Bagger out there. This new Magazine (called Baggers) is about customizing Bagger motorcycles. But I see mostly Harleys and very few metrics. Some of you have awesome looking customized nomads; Cheesyrider, Roy Smith, Dan, Tim, and many many others. Why not promote our favorite ride, the Nomad. Send a pic of your Nomad to: baggermag@primedia.com

Lets get the word out on how awesome the Nomad is!

Yeah I bought one issue and looked through this months issue, All I saw was Harleys. I'm not paying $5 to look at Harleys when I can walk out to the shed and look at my Nomad for free.

Thats why I'd like you all with custom Nomads to send in some pics.

There is an article on a custom Yamaha Roadliner outfitted with Corbin bags, fairing, etc.

I have seen metric bikes in there but not many. Bob did you read the letter from that jerk in last months issue? What a dope.

easy mif,, if only custom baggers can submit and get published that leaves about 80% of us reg guys out. What constitutes a custom, we all have many extras added on does that qualify as custom? and of course were ALL metric so we probably dont qualify. I appreciate your trying bobz,,, I'll just ride and look at my bike and save $5. :-)

Well I guess it's anything that's not stock. But they do tend to lean towards add-on's and do-dads. lotta custom paint too.

The full name is Hot Bike Baggers. Apparently it was a strictly Harley-oriented magazine under another name until a few months ago. They changed the name and the format to include American and Metric baggers. I enjoy reading it more than some of the other mags that are overly sportbike-oriented. I just ordered a subscription a few weeks ago.

It used to be called "Hot Bikes - Bike Works" and a lot of people were pissed that it was discontinued and switched to "Baggers". So here's the :bike Works" web page that says "Baggers" replaces it.

Sure enough, "American Baggers" just wrote me back and confirmed, "we only do American V-Twins, but thanks for your inquiry". I kind of anticipated that, but no harm in asking I suppose.

Send Nomad pics to Baggers Magazine

I sent some pics of my bagger and asked if they were afraid to compare a bike like mine to a HD. I'll never hear from them but then, I don't need to. I know the reason :-)
Ride safe,
Dano
