What tire pressure/shock setting combo?

Did a search; no luck...

What tire pressure (psi) and shock setting combo is everyone running? My shocks are set at 1 and I don't think there's any air in the shock. My tires were at 44 rear and 36 front! Now they're both at ~38psi.

What tire pressure/shock setting combo?

Just got mine so i am not the expert but the tech at the dealer told me to start out with the shocks set at 2 and run 40 psi in the rear and 34 in the front. My wife rides with me so he said to ask her after a few rides and if needed change the shock setting to 3.
Been feeling like a good ride for her and me so far.

GET a NO LOSS AIR PUMP for your shocks, Progressive makes them as well as different brands on E Bay ,a HD Dealer or a Bicycle $ between 20 and 45$.... YOU WANT 0 LOSS in the pump because a little loss can give a BIG difference in shock pressure,,,Im 220. run shock on #2 and 10 PSI in the SHOCKs, I also will install the SHOCK AIR Balance kit to keep the pressure equal.....,I JUST put on Metzlers and If I remember they are 40 PSI,,,,,,,YOU Manual should have factory setting for Tire PSI,MOST run the Harder, avoids cupping of the tire,Check past threads as well.....BY tonight yo will have more replies .Rich

40 / 40 psi in the tires and run 25psi in the shocks set at 2. When the bike is packed I run the shocks on 3 and go to 35psi in them.
Tires seem to last the best with 40psi , no cupping on the front at all.

What tire pressure/shock setting combo?

Ole Dawg told me he runs 38# front and 40# rear. He runs 25# in the shocks on #3 rebound and said it handles more like a sport bike in the twisties.

40/40 in the tires. With the shocks I have 20 psi & set on 1 riding solo. When my 135 lb wife rides along I set the shocks on 3 setting. If you check your shock air pressure with a tire gauge, you will lose 5 lbs of psi every time you remove the tire gauge from the shock. The shocks hold a very small volume of air. -Rich

What tire pressure/shock setting combo?

I run 41 psi, front and rear on Metzlers, 17psi in shocks (have a balancing kit installed) riding solo set on I, 2-up set on II or III depending on road conditions, and when loaded down for a weeks trip, about 25 psi and set on IIII. You'll just have to experiment with it to get it to your liking, but you do need a "Zero" loss hand pump, and the balancing kit is nice also. No matter what pressure you have in your shocks, they both are the same.

What tire pressure/shock setting combo?

I'm reading a lot of front tire pressures at 38 - 40 psi. My MOM states 32 psi and that's what I'm running. Wha's up? BTW, I set my shocks at #2 and 20 psi.

What tire pressure/shock setting combo?

I have metzlers and weigh 224. I have 36 front and 38 rear. 14 lbs and setting 3 on the shocks. I plan to try setting 2.

I used to run 42 in the rear tire. tried 40 and liked it better. Shop recommended 38 when I got a new rear tire recently. I love how it corners with 38, so I'm staying with 38.
