ROK, is it worth it?

I was browsing the Internet durin lunch and came across the ROK sub-site on the main Kaw page. I was a member if the Honda Riders and enjoyed their mag. Is the ROK mag any good?

Actually, the ROK mag is now online for anyone to read. They come out with a new edition about every 3 months.

I'll probably have the Kawasaki Gods bannish me to Harley hell for this, but I've decided not to renew my ROK membership this year. Too much money for not enough value.

There are a lot worse things in life than ending up with a Harley. I wouldn't lose too much sleep over it!

ROK, is it worth it?

I was a member last year and my membership is now due. I don't think I will renew especially since their magazine is now online. I do think they offer some type of roadside assistance.

For the $20.00 I pay a year for ROK with the roadside assistance,

I would say Yes it's worth it just for the peace of mind.

Not to mention the hospitality booth at the larger rallys.

Your AMA membership will also give you roadside assistance and a lot more.

I agree with AL. You do have to sign up for automatic withdrawl of the membership fee to get roadside assistance but it is still a great value.
Not to mention the AMA fights for your rights.
If you ride a motorcycle you should be a member of the American Motorcycle Association.
If you own a firearm you should be a member of the National Rifle Association.

Ditto here on not renewing. The magazine going to digital did it for me. I need a paper magazine for my quality reading time. My AMA memnbership covers me for roadside assistance AND gives me something to read in the john...
