KawaNOW NC MCH1 ride

OK, I know you folks do everything bigger in Texas, but us East Coasters were feelin' left out....so we had our own ride..well, kinda.

It was short notice and we tried to get kawgirl, buck, and myself together in east-central NC. Kawgirl's time is a little crunched right now so it was Buck and myself. First time we had met and had a great little 130 mile ride. Just like all Nomaders, buck is great guy....

We need to try to get the NC folks all together, maybe VA and SC for a big mid-atlantic ride....that's still not the square mileage of TX Who's up for it ?

Buck's machine on the right and Todd's on the left

with 2 of us, we kinda had to use the self-timer

Buck with the bikes

Todd with the bikes

It looks a bit cold there Todd? Anytime you can get out for a ride with a fellow Nad rider is a good day!

Sounds like you had a fun time. Still a little snowy and wet in southern Ohio.

You Two guys did just what it takes. Even it's just two at first, you'll be surprised how fast the count grows. Everyone else will see what you've done by actually getting together and riding together and want to do the same. Good for you!

That's fantastic Todd. Glad you two got to go riding. I'm going to start an MCH page on the website and post the pics.

Trip

BTW, how tall are you Todd? You might rival lw and mikesth.

Thanks to Todd for a great ride and going the extra mile to welcome a new Nomad owner. He is a great ambassador for this group of Nad riders. I saw some backroads only 60-70 miles from home that I have never been on. The grease and coffee were good, the company and ride were great . Can't think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Count me in for a mid-Atlantic ride. Buck

Was great day tomk...I think it hit 65. We just don't have any leaves on the trees yet..but by the look of the things, it's only a few weeks away. I passed a crabapple tree this morning in full bloom.

I tell you guys, it has amazed me meeting the few in person from this website...and the ones I have met over the phone....and the ones just online....at how similar other parts of our daily routine/life/outlooks are......seems to me a bunch of really down to earth kind of folks that are great to be around.....BRING ON THE RALLIES!!!!

Trip, I top out at 6'4"...as BD would say....that's a big stack of it. I think LW might have me beat.......I want him around if I have to be carried out of a burning building.

Count me in. I am just across the east coast border of NC and can get to Moyock in less than 30 minutes.

I usually work weekends but I am switching to our alternate schedule for two months and will be having Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays off beginning March 6 until the 1st week in May.
