North Conway to Burlington Vermont ????
Hey
I am heading from North Conway to Burlington Vermont in a week not on the bike I am not crazy. Any advise on the best route to take considering winter and the mountains. I drive a Jeep Liberty and live in Moncton which is the snow belt for the maritimes but no mountains. Snow is not new to me but white out conditions are not good on a two lane road. Anyone from around there. The vermont tourist agent said not a problem as long as no storms Thanks for any advice Login or Register to Remove Ads |

John, I looked at the map. You are going to being going uphill and downhill, anyway you go. During the winter months we do have slippery road conditions with snowfall. If I were unfamiliar with the roads and it is snowing, I would choose the path with the most towns on it. Roads will be better taken care of. Such as rt. 302 over rt. 112, rt. 2 is also good for towns and the road is not to bad for hills, it has two really big hills, otherwise not bad. Anyway, if you are coming to Montpelier, Vt. to get on I-89 to Burlington, send me a PM.
