Made it Home

Crystal and I left Antlers about 7:45. A early departure for us.
Stopped in Clayton to put on the rain gear but ended up not needing it.
We flattened a squirrel that couldn’t make up it’s mind then stopped in Poteau to get Crystals car. Got home at 10:30.
Even though we couldn’t make the entire rally we had a great time. Good seeing everyone again.
As always thanks to Vic and Katy for hosting the annual Antlers rally. Hope to see everyone somewhere next year.

Made it home. Left Saturday and did not see rain for 400 miles. But, the last 140 it rained all the way with temps in the mid 40s. A big shout out to Vic and Katy for a great time and feed. Hope to see you folks somewhere next year.

This came at a good time, I needed to ride and you all are a great group to ride with, really helped to build my confiidence. Thanks everyone.
A special Thanks to Victor and Katie for all the hard work to put this rally together for everyone. THANKS!!!!!

The first thing is thank you and Katy for hosting another fantastic rally! After seven or eight years of coming to these things it seems like a pre-Thanksgiving gathering. We all appreciate the planning and effort it takes to pull an event like this off.

We got home last evening around nine. Road construction, long breaks, and scattered showers added another four hours to the last leg of the trip for me and Sue. We stayed overnight in Dickson, Tennessee Saturday night and enjoyed a fantastic dinner with Dk and Suesie.

It sure was nice to see everybody again. Turner Falls was beautiful. There's always something new and unexpected every year! That's another thing I love about these rallies, the conversation about, "Remember when".

I made it 560 mile to Marion, IL the first day. And 430 miles to home the second day.

Hit a couple 1 minute down pours the first day North of Bradford, AR. Was dry in about 10 minutes. I did see it up ahead so stopped and put on the rain gear. rain hard enough couldn't see the truck in front of me, then it just quite.
Rest of the trip was dry.
Good to see everyone and thanks To Vic and Katy.

My second day was secondary roads under 60 mph. The Voyager averaged 46 mpg (Bike said 48)

Thank you Vic and Katy for another great rally. Loved the chili. Barb and I made it home yesterday afternoon around 4:30. We drove in the rain and cold most of the way home, sure am glad I was trailing.

Dk and Suzie called me yesterday and other than sighting two of Oklahoma's finest trophy deer crossing the road ahead of him, they made it home with no rain.

Yeah, he's at home worrying the living hell out of somebody else now.

You are getting a lot better mileage than I am. 37-38 mpg at best.

Susie and I made it to Blairsville mid-afternoon yesterday. No rain except for light drizzle within 5 miles of home.

My first Antlers meet....enjoyed it. Great to see old friends and make a few new ones. Appreciate all that made Susie welcome. She really enjoyed it.
Thank to Vic and Katy for their efforts making a fantastic meal.

PS: Vic, got your message but don't understand??
Jesse, been doing some research. Still gonna call Vegas for odds!

I got back yesterday after avoiding weather by leaving a day early and visiting a friend in New Mexico. Avoided rain and snow but did ride the last two days in 35 to 45 degrees (F). Many thanks to Vic. This was my first trip to Antlers and really enjoyed it. Also, thanks to Trip for the advice on the scarcity of gas stations in west Texas.
