Stock seat gave me back and leg pains after about 50 miles. Mustang fixed that the the Alaska butt pad keep my butt cool on the seat all day long.
What's in the butt pad to make it special... Alaska Magic! Don't know what it is, "butt" it works for me!

I don't have any pix of wat makes my (and the wife's) butt happy, check it out at
http://beadrider.com/

These things are the cat's meow, when it gets hot. They are extremely comfortable, and best of all, you can "FEEL" the air going under you. No more "swamp butt"!!!!!! these are what works for us.

Hey Joe,
I got the mustang seat, and have been using the beads for 3 years on it, no problems so far . I do have to take them off when the weather cools down, they will freeze your hiney off. . Every time I clean-up the bike I take the beads off, rinse them, and wash the seats. I can't say anything bad about them beads.

I have ridden with a couple people that got the full sheepskin with the long hair and swore by them. They say your skin breaths and sweat does not build up.

I ride with a stock seat and a propad like the one pictured above. It has sheepskin on top and 3/4 dry gel. They in Dennis Kirk catalog and others. Makes a big differnece on long rides, seat is not hot in the summer or cold in the winter.

Ever since I got the backrest my butt has never been so happy. It pushes me forward ever so slightly so I'm sitting right on top of the seat rather than on the back edge that slants up. Maybe the backreast is taking some pressure off too. All I know Is my tailbone doesn't hurt and I actually like the stock seat!
