In Houston, TX for the rest of this week. Are there any BIG motorcycle shops I should check out?

Duff, I dont think there are any major shops but there are some nice rides if you are on the bike... Even if you're not check out the Kemah Boardwalk....

No big Kawi shops with all the accessories laying out for oogling!? Dang! Will check out the boardwalk. Unfortunately not on the bike though, drove the wife down for a dog show.

Was in Houston a couple few weeks ago and think I saw a Kawasaki dealer in Pasadena.

The two largest are Clear Lake Kawi. at I 45 south between airport blvd. and Edgebrook, and Passadena Kawi just past beltway 8 on Fairmont parkway. From Edgebrook and 45 you can go due east on Edgebrook, it will become Fairmont parkway and take you straight to Passadena kawi. Texas Powersports on Spencer Rd. in Pasadena might be worth a look if you are already in Pasadena.

ON the Northwest side of town, there's a little shop I like to frequent on Kykendahl rd. just north of Hwy. 1960. It's called Global Motorsports and they usually have quite a varried selection of used, clean, lowmilage bikes at good prices. You just never know what might show up at his shop. I got my first Nomad there and put a lot of happy and troublefree miles on it. The miles were only 5K and the price was great. They have a website.

That's as much as I know, hope you find it useful. We're taking off for the Hill country today. Sposed to be dryer and cooler than around here. And it's my mother in law's birthday, so we're meeting here in Fredericksburg for Trade Days. She's never been, so we're going to show her around. She is unhappy to be turning 70, and said so. I helped by reminding her that not only would she be 70 on saturday, but for the entire year. She likes me, but I think I made her list. Ya'll have fun in Houston. On your way to Kema you can stop at the first dealership I told you about, it's right on the same freeway you'll be traveling.

The dealer I bought my chrome radiator cover from is on the Gulf Freeway. Thats 45 South I think its in the Monroe/Hobby Airport area. Not sure if its a storefront or actual shop. Google CruiserCustoms in Houston.
Paul, I used to live off of Fairmont Parkway and I grew up in the Almeda mall, Scarsdale area. Dobie High School... I moved to the country about 10 years ago.. too many people, traffic and crime for me. Still a great place to visit though.
