bluetongue,
I did the same thing. I was tired of not knowing what RPM I was running. I got a Fire and Steel tach about a year ago. I love it. Trip

Trip or Bluetongue. Could you post a pic of the tach. I've thought about a tach. Have one on the goose (guzzi) and thought wish had one on the Nad. Thanks is advance.
Also, are they difficult to install?

unwind2......this is a pic of mine. It's a Fire and Steel tach that I had the Kawa Dealer install for me. The only bad thing about having this type of tach is it deters your ability to install handlebar extenders, but I didn't want any anyway.

I have installed an electronic cruise control and J&M cb on my bike......then wished for risers....hubbie just laughed and said are you kiddin....not now if wanted risers should've done them before all the wiring. So anyway guess I won't be gettin risers. Tac don't look bad at all.

Could you post a pic of your CB? I just installed a Cobra 38WXST on mine, but I really don't like the size.

vaughn,
On behalf of spirello, I can say he didn't mean anything by it. We understand that making an innocent statement like that can be hurtful, but we didn't intend to hurt anyone. I assure you that spirello was not trying to be crass or ill mannered. Thanks for understanding, Trip

I was wrong to lash out at Mr. Spirello and I sincerely apologize.
To spirello, the board, members and anyone I offended. It was not my intent to cause problems. It has been a bad few days for me and I screwed it up. Again, I apologize and rest assured, it won't happen again. |

vaughn - be cool.
I think people must consider the general public is not as atuned to the feelings, remarks, stares that must be endured. I have an autistic nephew and realize the public is curious for the most part but not intending to be mean. ;) I also have a cousin who was born with her arms backwards, her elbows face forward. The biggist problem turned out to be her as her parents spoiled her rotten and she turned out to be a real................................B. If you know what I mean. When I was in nursing school I babysat a beautiful little girl who was symptomatically similar to muscular distrophy. Her mother and I cried together when I graduated......she is one special girl...I would carry her all over the place in a stroller. She loved it.

kawgirl - You can look at it at mccruise.com ......be warned it is not cheap. It was a christmas present for me from my hubbie. :-*
But to us it was worth while as I plan on keeping my Nomad a long time and we make long trips at least once a year on the bikes. This summer's trip was 3300 fun miles.
