Trailer hitch web site for Nomad and Voyager
I purchase the Nomad 1700 swtich and wiring harness. Took about thirty minute to install the hitch. Good directions and easy wrenching.

Trailer hitch web site for Nomad and Voyager
I got mine from hitchdoc.com. They don't actually have the 1700 listed on the website but they do have it. I like that the tongue and ball remove and the hitch is invisible.
Does cost a little more but mounts more cleanly. |

Trailer hitch web site for Nomad and Voyager
I've been reading where a lot of folks have been pulling cargo trailers with their Nomads. How about anyone pulling a camper trailer? I have a Bunkhouse Camper which grosses out to about 450--500 lb. fully loaded. I suspect that my '10 Nomad ought to pull it OK, but I'd like to hear from anyone else who pulls this or a similar trailer.
Oh, sorry! I didn't mean to hijack this thread. Shoulda started a different one. But to keep it on track, I installed the McHitch. Well made and looks just fine. |
