I think some of the stuff Harbor Freight sells is okay but other stuff seems to be cheaply made. I get a magazine of their sales ever now and then.

You can't beat the price of their stuff, we have Princess Auto here which is almost the same as HF. You can return stuff anytime, its like having a lifetime warranty.

I've used two of them for the last three years with no problems. The Nomad sat in one for five months last winter.

I have one just like it that held my Nomad from here to Eureka Springs, AR and back. It locks the front wheel and is adjustable. You do have to strap the bike down just as with any chock. The side to side strength isn't the greatest but if it is strapped down correctly, there is no problem. HF does make one that is a step above this one. Better quality. The one I have in my enclosed trailer is the slotted removable type that is very stout. It came with the trailer and is not a HF chock.

I have one mounted on my trailer, works great for me. Since I load the bike by myself It holds the bike for me while I tie it down.

I have the same one from HF on my trailer and it works just fine. Drive it in, and it holds your bike while you strap it down.

I have 4 of these for my bikes. The one I have mounted in my bike trailer held my Nomad fine from South Carolina to Washington without a problem. The other three I mounted in my Freightliner to hold the rest of the bikes on the final moe from SC to Washington. I just revcently mounted a second one in my motorcycle trailer and hauled to bikes to the Hell's Canyon rally without any issues.

Al had a very similar unit in his truck for the trip to MV. It held the bike solid as a rock the whole trip with no issues.

That's the chock I have in my trailer. So far it's worked great with no issues.
It holds the bike so well that I have to use my ratcheting tie down straps to pull the bike out of the chock. Of course, that may have to do with my age, not as strong as I used to be. Just trailered to Maggie Valley and back through the mountains and had no problems.

I had one of these and it bent and bike slowly fell over. Get Harbor Freights Heavy Duty one instead.
