October is Our Month
Hey, it just occured to me that this Oct 10th will be the 19th year anniversary for Judy & I.
Sort of. ;) We've been together for 19 years, but we only finally managed to actually get married 6 years ago. So what this is actually is the anniversary of our third date, which is also the day we decided to shack up. For 13 years, as it turned out. ::) When we finally got married (by the Depty Wedding Comissioner of Fresno county) they charged us a $5 counciling fee to help us determine if we were really ready to get married. After living together for 13 years. They also charged us a $25 Spousal Abuse Abatement Fee. Who thought that one up? Hereabouts, they just naturally figure you're gonna hit each other, so they charge you for that in advance. To celebrate our 19 years of (something close to) bliss, we'll be getting drunk at the Comfort Inn in Three Rivers, and waiting for the rest of the Calif. Nomad Hooligans to show up for the run through the Sequoias. October 10th, 11th, & 12th. Don't forget! Cheers!

October is our month too. 26 years of marrage on the 16th, or is it 27 years ???

Wow, we have been married only five years. My wife says that when we finally get rid of the kids she wants to get a big motorhome and cruise the country. I told her hell no! After 30-40 years of putting up with each others sh*t the last thing I want is to be stuck in a rolling tin can all day with her.

Thanks, guys.
I know it's hard for Judy to put up with me at times. She still does. I'm kinda impressed with her perseverance. ;) But this thread wasn't really so much about us as about me trying to round up some more riders to do the Sequoias with us in October. It's like my hidden agenda.

Congrats CQ ...and everybody else who's hitting a significant mark!! I know Cadd that you're trying to drum up riders...but y'alls relationship is something to be proud of in itself!!! Hope y'all have a fun and SAFE ride!!!!
