Clutch
alrighty, 06 Nomad, 54k, clutch is still working just fine, mostly 2 up and loaded riding, soooo i ve been reading up and trying to be ready when i detect a slip, of everything I ve read i still couldnt find the info i need,
when its time to replace, i want to do everything, but the kits sold all said plates only, where do i get a complete clutch kit? the dealer was no help, i was just going to stick with stock or similar, so dont i need plates, springs, and engagement spring? sorry i m a little rusty with this, i havent changed a clutch since the 80's on my dirtbikes. Clutch
You most likely don't need the plates and discs, just a new spring and possibly some of Judges washers. The part numbers are all available further down in our tech forum. Use either a Barnett or meanstreak spring. Good clear instructions are available on Gadgets Fixit site, take a look there and youll see whats involved.
