Hello from Banner Washington
I goofed guys in failing to introduce myself before posting in the tech forum. In fact I hadn't even looked at the rest of the site until this morning.
I live in Banner WA which is a small area about a mile from Puget Sound. The closest town is Port Orchard with its one stoplight. I bought a pristine, low mileage 2007 Nomad at our local Triumph dealership about a month ago. I am a rider of over 50 years and have been touring the country on two wheels since I retired from the Navy in 2003. I have three other running bikes, a 2002 Harley Super Glide, a 2011 VStrom DL650 and a old Brit 650 along with three others awaiting restoration. I also see that we have some regional rider groups so am looking forward to participating. I'll be riding to Oklahoma, British Columbia, Idaho/Montana and California next year. I'll also be doing Rolling Thunder in May on my son's Rocket III. I try to do a California ride every year. Carmichael CA was my home growing up and there is some spectacular riding all around Northern CA.

I rode through both Missouri and Oklahoma a couple of years ago on my RT 66 ride. It was the first time I'd seen Missouri and loved it. I actually called my wife from a motel and told her we were moving there. I've a bit of time in Oklahoma and will be riding around the Bartlesville and Tulsa areas with some friends there this spring. Hangtown. My family visited for the first time when I was 5 or 6 years old. They used to have a dummy hanging by a rope around its neck and I thought it was real. I'll also be riding through Placerville next year. The last time I rode through was a few years ago and I was surprised by how much it had grown since I departed to join the Navy back in 67.

Mike, the dummy (nicknamed Willie) is still there!
