Reflash only for 1700?

Interesting that the 1700 has Ivan's (and at least one other) to reflash the ECU and really change the charactoer of the bike. How about the 1600? Is it just that the 1600 not commonly reflashed, or doesn't gain anthing by doing it, or that no one has ever developed a 1600 ECU reflash?

I did find this vendor to reflash the 1600 ECU:

https://ecu-flashing.com/category/ka...can-vn1600-en/

from their chart it looks like a decent upgrade.

They gotta website, I'd call them just to verify this....I looked around, tune for the 1500 would be the same for the 1600.....didn't for the 1700....
If were to have laptop compatible tuning software, I'd get it....
Right now trying to figure out wiring for a Haltech 750 ecm install on a 1600....that way i can tune it with a laptop.

I know a guy in California that is good with figuring out this stuff. He created a small box for the tach in the 1700 Vaquero gauge panel that accepts a signal from the 1600 ECU, and now I have a 1700 gauge panel in the frame mounted fairing on my VN1600 dresser, speedo is easy to get working, same for most other functions, but I needed a box to get the right signal to the 1700 tach.
