Another Motorcycle Accident
I thought this one was pretty hairy and from a different point of view. Some of you may know where this is.

Wow, how lucky to have such capable people arrive on the scene. Hope all recover completely.

Wow.....what timing. I've been over that route many times and I know exactly what bridge she is talking about. That guy used up a large portion of his luck.

Sounds like a lucky case of the right people showing up at the right time.

Incredible story. Good that the guy made it even though it will be a long road for him.

Here in SoCal, there must be a dozen accidents a day, many of which get TV coverage. I'd like to see some stats on type of bike involved, cruiser or sport, but can't find any. The Hurt Report makes no distinction.

When I was in San Diego and Oxnard a couple decades ago, I saw guys doing things on bikes on the freeway that I thought were borderline suicidal. Riding like that around here will get you killed or at the very least arrested. Lane splitting is crazy illegal here and riding on breakdown lanes will get a flat tire in a heartbeat. Its just a lot different here I guess.
