lower fairings

Anyone know where I can locate some harley style lower fairings?
I have a buddy that is looking fir some. He has tried Premeaux but their site is not working. His bike is a VStar 1300. Any help would be great.

The only company that I know that makes them is Premeux. I don't know if they make them for anything other than the Nomad. I know that the HD lower fairings will not fit a Nomad.

Have you contacted chuckster131? He make lowers for the Nomad & may be able to make a custom set for your buddy.

I had no success contacting Premeux either. Have not seen them anywhere else, even ebay. What is the difference that makes the harley ones not fit? They are ABS plastic and could easily be lengthened or shortened to fit.

I think he's talking about the lower fairings that are in front of the floorboards. Premeux is the only aftermarket supplier that I have ever seen with these, and I think they are only available for the Nomad.

The HD lowers are both wider and taller, I looked into cutting up a set to fit and I dont think it would have looked right after I was done, they would have been out of proportion.

Perhaps a pair from a Yamaha Venture may fit closer on a VStar, that may be something to look into.

The lower fairing from a new Voyager could probably be modified to work, but they will more than likely cost $$$$$
