Beezer at the door

A married couple, Bill and Mary, were discussing whether or not to go out for the evening; when Bill said; "I think I would rather just have a romatic evening at home tonight". Mary agreed; but said she would like to take a shower to get relaxed. Bill thought that was a good idea and said he would shower after she was done.

Finally Mary finished her shower; grabbed a towel and wrapped-it around herself and walked out of the bathroom. Bill soon entered and it wasn't long before he was in the shower; when all of a sudden the front door bell rang.

Mary cracked the door to find one of Bill's friends, Beezer, standing outside asking if they wanted to go out for drinks. Mary told Beezer; "No, Bill is taking a shower and we are just going to stay home tonight."

Beezer noticed that Mary was only drapped in a towel and looked freshly wet. He asked; "Hey you don't have anything under that towel do you?" Mary said; "Well... I just got out of the shower."

Beezer said; "I tell you what. Open this door a bit further and I'll hand you this $250 cash I have in my hand if you'd just drop that towel for one moment so I can look at you.

Mary said; "No way!"

Beezer was persistent and said; "Come-on... Bill is in the shower; he'll never know and I'll raise it to $500 in cash!!"

Mary thought for a moment and then relented; "Well... okay... I guess one quick look won't matter." She dropped her towel and Beezer stood there looking.

Beezer then handed her the money and left in a hurry.

Mary shut the door; and at that moment Bill came out of the shower and yelled out; "Who was at the door honey?" Mary said; "It was just Beezer wanting to know if we wanted to go out for drinks tonight. I told him we were staying in."

Bill yells back; "I sure hope the S.O.B. dropped off the $500 he borrowed like he said he was going to!"
