Ride on Saturday.

Well, it wasn't the most fun ride I had yesterday. Rode the bike into Denver looking for a new car after our old one puked the tranny. Left home around 8 a.m. and less than 20 miles later had a Harley pass me. Didn't bother me much. As fate would have it, I stopped in Wiggins for a quick drink and then hit the interstate again. As I was hitting the on-ramp there he went by. I really thought that he would be moving so I just hit my speed and went on my way. I caught him about 10 miles later. Stupid idiot stayed in the passing lane. Evidently didn't know how to use his mirrors. After I passed him he sped up and just rode right behind me all the way into Denver. At least he waved as he went by when I hit my exit.

Also stopped next to a Honda VTX rider when in Denver. He really liked the bike and really really liked the bags on the Nomad. Other than that not much exciting.

2010 Ford Focus. On the trip home I averaged 36.9 mpg. Not to bad.

Sounds like a nice ride Joel. Sure would have enjoyed riding some with you in Colorado. I sure do miss living in Colorado.
