Snow in East Texas????

You guys up North aren't the only ones getting snow. This was falling this morning when I got up. My dog is trying to bite the snow. She doesn't know what it is!

Snow in East Texas????

Here is the snow cover map for the US as of about midnight last night 6Z. Looks like that band in Texas is moving east to get you.

BTW, Is that shed for the Nomad? Door looks a little narrow. Or, is it just your dog house, looks like a guy could spend some quality time in there!

What did you Texans do to piss off the weather gods? D/FW was on the news this morning and it looked more like Greenbay.

We're in for the precip...but by the time it reaches us it's just a big low pressure system and 55 degrees and lots of rain. We can use it though.....still over 10" short for the rolling 12 months.

Snow in East Texas????

I was snowing in Huntsville when I left for work this morning. It was about 44 degrees and nothing is sticking, but it was fun to see the flakes.

Dan, Yeah, I though so too.

Some of the regional close ups could help with short-term trip planning.

I've been on their site before, but never found those maps. The animated maps that show the snow fall over the whole season is fun.

Utah and Colorado have been having the same snow storms it looks like over the season.
