More Rumble in our Driveway
Hello all
It's a long story but without dramatizing it and keeping it short and sweet, let me just say it: I rode the Electra home Saturday afternoon. Bike: 2012 FLHTC Electra Glide Classic Engine: 103 ci with Integrated Oil-Cooler Colour: Birch White/Midnight Pearl Options: ABS: Yes Security: Yes Cruise Control: Yes Audio System: Harman/Kardon two-speaker, 20-watt per channel My Nomad was at 60,725 km when I bit the bullet and traded in. I will miss my Nomad but there was no way to maintain 3 bikes in our household. I want to thank everybody for answering my questions on our beloved Nomads ever since I joined the forums. It's been a slice! Cheers, Elvis Login or Register to Remove Ads

Congratulations! I was at Chester's HD yesterday to pick up the 2013 P&A catalog and saw the same bike on the showroom floor. Nice looking color combo.

Great looking bike. Looks like you're going to have to sit at your own table in Estes Park though. That table is getting larger all the time.

Thanks guys.
Electra looks like a cop bike but it is from the regular line of touring bikes. I haven't ridden her much yet and I used up all of my vacation for this year so I don't know how many miles I can put on before winterizing her. But I do know I love the Electra, the handling, the sound, the stereo and the overall looks. And that V-twin motor, man, it gets my blood going. Cheers, E. |

Just curious, did you keep the Nomad for those days that your new Garage Queen is broke down?
