Wind Chill Chart

With colder weather coming upon most of the nation; here is a wind-chill chart to help you gauge just how cold it may feel.

You may find it interesting just how much colder a bit of wind can be... and if you're riding late into the season, it may be enough to cause you harm.

So, ride as long as you can this coming winter, but be sure to take precaution against the effects of the cold. ;)

Wind Chill Chart

Even with this chart I have a hard time convincing my wife that the windchill isn't any worse whether we go 70 or "slow down" to 40.

Wind Chill Chart

I rode early this morning in my summer riding outfit. Temp was about 48 degrees and I only rode about three miles total. By the time I got home I was about to freeze. Windchill of riding faster does make it colder believe it or not.

LOL!!! You guys make us "Northerners" jealous. You'll notice the chart doesn't even include temperatures as high as your average lows!!

Wind Chill Chart

LOL...I actually had to snag a sweatshirt out of my friend's office at school this morning. It was in the low 60's and I was in t-shirt.

Wind Chill Chart

Ive been riding snowmobiles here for many years and have been on the extreme end of that chart. You sure learn how to appreciate a nice wood stove after a good ride on some days.

I snowmobile also. It's takes place of my bike-riding in the winter. I was just planning my annual trip up to the UP of Michigan. I can appreciate what you mean about the cold... although the new sleds that have heat are nice.
