LED for rear L/R signals
I have replaced the front and rear signal stock bulb with LED. Now, the front ones worked well as marker & signal. The problem is with the rear LED bulbs, it wouldn't work! When I return to the stock bulb it works except with the LEDs!
ANy help? Has anyone worked them? Is there some kind of wiring required? BTW i am using the LED flasher replacement. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

LED for rear L/R signals
Okay... i have found the ultimate solution however it wasn't easy though!
The problem was with the type(quality) of those LEDs i got recently from V-LEDS.com and those were 1156 20LED amber 7W bulbs. I have an xp with other types that the polarity is (-) outside & (+) center, however in this case it was the opposite and I was going through the process of elemination until i got the right tip. Of course I had to switch the pins going through the harness below the rear fender for both the LEFT & RIGHT respectevily. Enevtually it worked with glamour and it does look great. Just a hint, those LEDs available with that vendor is the brightest available as 7watt each |
