NW Region Leader Position

As you know last May Bud said he was stepping down as the NorthWest Region leader.

If anyone is interested in filling that role please let me know.

why not consider combining the northwest and southwest into just having a western div.?

We have. It hasn't been ruled out.
But I think it would be better if we could find someone.

Realize this is an old thread, but.....was a new regional found? Is there any activity or an event planned for this region?

Newer member but would like to have the option of something other than just riding with my wife or solo. Some place to tell lies, hear lies, and complement each other's lies.

No Dave’s never found anybody willing to take that position.
If you don’t mind a long ride you can join us in Custer SD.

We still have a few members in the NW, just not very active on the site.

Me in Vancouver , Kris in Everett, Charlie in Seattle? The NW & SW should be combined.

However he did say if needed he could get something planned for 2018.

Neither John or Brandon has a suggestion as to who might replace them.

I can post in the SW regional board to see if anyone is interested in the position.

The reason I asked is because I hadn't seen a post from John in a long time. He had the SW Rally in Safford a couple of years ago and I think only one member showed up. I couldn't attend due to lingering medical issues, but even if I could - Safford AZ in the summer is not very enticing.

If you only have a Region with three or four members what is the point? You might as well combine them so at least you have a enough numbers to get together once in awhile.

In addition you don't need to have two volunteer leaders, just one.

That is pretty much what we did before everybody scattered. We did some combined events.

I guess I could also ask the question WHY NOT have one region?

Well with folks scattering and moving on that might be what it will come to.:
USA region
Canadian region
Australia region
European region
South America region

I appreciate you staying involved and voicing your opinion.
All valid points. I'll post something in the near future on
regions and region leaders.
