Newbie from Wichita, KS *needs help*

Just purchased a 2008 Nomad, and I am in love with the bike. Immediately there are 3 things I want to do, and boy do I need help finding stuff to fit.

1. Whitewalls - I have a feeling you're gonna tell me to change tire size and/or wheel size, and thats okay.

2. Dashboard - Are you guys fitting a Voyager or is there an aftermarket

3. Tour pack - I want it big, bad, paintable and curved like the saddles.

First, welcome to the Nomad Nation from the Grand Canyon State!

Sorry, I can't help you on the white sidewalls. I had them on a previous bike, and although they look sharp, they are too much work to keep that way.

By "dashboard", do you mean a fairing? Lots of options there, your only limit is your wallet.

Lots of tourpak options out there as well. You should be able to get all your questions answered here.

Welcome from Vermont
I always thought that the trunk from the Honda Valkyrie Interstate would look nice.

Welcome from Ohio, and what is your budget? You can get painted to match your bike bolt on fairing and trunk for $$$$$$$ or do it yourself for $, and everywhere in between.

welcome from Langley BC, Canada.
I haven't ever had W.W.'s either. I just got my "dashboard" or fairing if that's what you mean. I really like it. I'm on my second trunk. The first one being an older Yamaha Venture trunk that I felt looked great and the lines of it flowed with the saddlebags beautifully. I went with a tour pak though because it was a lot bigger in size. And that's why I changed it up. Have fun!

Welcome from Montreal. I sure you will find this to be a great site. I can't help you on the questions as I have none of those items on my Bike. You could try posting your questions on the "Nomad related " section as well. I'm sure you will get additional responses there.

Welcome from Ontario! Dunlop Cruisemax & D404's are your best bet for whitewalls, an HD batwing or clone is the most popular fairing, and there are a couple of them that bolt right on. The HD Tour pak is the largest of the beer boxes available, and there are clones of them also. There are a couple threads about rear trunks going on right now on the boards here to take a look at.
