What is 1/20/2013 the end of an error for?

1-20-2013 is the day the next president will be sworn in.
So it will be the end of the Obama error. MT

That reminds of a story; A young lady gets a call from the family Dr. who is also a close family friend. He tells her, "I'm calling from the hospital, your dad and I were playing golf, he was struck on the head by lightening - his injuries are severe. The surgeons here say, and I agree, there is only one way to save your father. We will need to cut out half of his brain. Otherwise he will certainly die. But, we need a family member to ok the procedure. This will have to be done immedietely to have any hope of success. As his daughter will you give the OK?" There was silence on the phone, the Dr waited patiently. More silence, the Dr was becoming concerned with the wasted time. More silence, finally the Dr says, "Miss, your fathers life depends on this procedure being done right now!" "I know" she said, "I know....it's just that, well, we've never had a democrat in the family before." |

First you turn the rally thread into grits and pig liver and bleached fish.
Now you turn the grits thread into a political misdemeaner. No wonder I never know what's going on!

Got to love it Loafer... got to love it.
Hey, by the way... livermush (which my spell-check says is NOT a word) deserves a deterrent I like a lot of different food; some of which is rather "sickening" in make-up; but livermush rates right up there with blood-pudding and other such disgusting combinations. But!!!! I'll eat some while in MV just so I can say I tried it. I just hope I don't like it!!!

Years back, when working a Deli, I tried polenta, head cheese and blood pudding. I won't do that again. I've seen livermush, :-/ lutefish and grits made on the Food channel, they aren't on my list of foods my doctor and my stomach will let me eat.

I bought some kind of goat cheese sandwich when I was in France, took a bite and it was all I could do to not spew!...I tossed the rest of the sandwich into the can.

When in Rome...
I watch the food channel for ideas. I had just seen a show of Bizarre Foods, they were in the Phillipines. They were eating fish eyes, pig hoofs, fried pig ears and chicken feet. I won't mention the bugs. My brother married the second time three years ago, to a Phillipino lady. She took him home for three months. When he got home he called me and told me how upset he was with the food they ate, and expected him to eat. Of course, being the guest of honor, he was given the fish eyes and the like. I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe or speak. I almost died from lack of oxygen. He kept asking if I was still there, and I couldn't answer him. Finally he says, "your laughing at me aren't you". I handed the phone to my wife, she finished the call. That was the funniest and scariest moment of my life. Laughing and not being able to breathe at the same time. Grits don't sound bad when you consider what they eat in other countries.

My daughter said the best diet she was ever on is when she stayed two weeks with her Laotian mother-in-law.
