Maggie Valley, less than two weeks to go
Well the time to head out for Maggie Valley is fast approaching and I thought it might be good to have a thread to post any last minute details for us Canadian guys. I think Sly, Caper, Guy and I have our act pretty much together and will cross into the US at Cornwall and make our way to the 81. We will leave Sat morning and ride about 400 miles on both Sat and Sun, leaving about 230 miles to do on the Monday. We have no real overnight stops planned out except to be in the Hazleton, PA area Sat night in the Dublin, VA area Sun night and the Tikibar area Mon night.
How bout you guys coming from Ont?, Still planning a Sun start?, Bogie are you headed out by yourself Sat?

CELL PHONES IN THE U.S
Hey everyone if you are with Bell mobility you might want to check out their special going on. I just called to have a travel USA bundle added to my phone for the Maggie Valley trip. Basically you can add different minute packages to your phone for a minimum of 30 days. I was all set to order a 50 minute package for $30, covers all costs for calls within U.S and back to Canada. The gentleman I spoke with told me they had a special promotion going on and offered me 100 minutes for a 30 day period for free. after 30days it will disappear with no cancellation required.

Like I mentioned to Scott {C.J.}, I haven't got vacations booked for that time and figured I would be able to get away without any problem. I'll be playing "going to the redwoods rally" by ear and keep my fingers crossed. For a year where I thought I was a "shoe in" for making all the rally's there's a chance I won't make any of them.
