Replacing ECU with a new unit

Hi, I am looking to chip my ECU and can buy a NOS ECU that I could send to the shop so my bike won't be off the road while I am waiting for it to return.
My question is will this plug straight in or will it need factory updates from a dealer, also I guess I will lose the odometer reading?

Any help will be appreciated

Cheers
Daryll

I presume you are going to send a used ECU to Ivan's Performance Products ?

If so it will plug right in and will not need any factory updates from a dealer.

I am not sure about the odometer reading aspect of your question.
