Any chance of finding the previous regional group threads? Had a trip under discussion that is about to go. In any event, Durango July 18 - I'm back and packing.

I was surprised myself to see them gone Ells. I'm have a hard time with long range planning, but thought that I'd better start thinking about our ride. I logged on to find the dates and its gone.

Last I heard was to meet in Montrose, 2PM on the 18th and then on to Durango that night. I'm planning on heading south on the 17th to somewhere near the Springs and then heading west with you and AGR bright and early on the 18th - if that still works for the two of you. Last I heard also was the Idaho might join somewhere.

I concur. I liked having the California group because it seemed like it would facilitate us actually getting together for rides, etc. Oh well... guess we'll just have to make do with what we have!

The San Diego group is going to Venice Beach today. We're thinking about checking out the MC Show in Long Beach.... if anyone want to meet up for lunch or something, give me a call.

Sorry guys......I thought you knew that we would be starting over with the boards. If I just unpassworded existing boards and renamed them, there would be some type of semi-confidential information that I felt didn't need to get out to the public.

Felt it was best to start over. I warned of this earlier in the week and asked for everyone to backup whatever data they wanted to keep.

I knew this was coming. I was just being silly.

I've got the contact numbers backed up, and that was the biggest thing for me.

Was out of contact for the week so missed the warning about the change. Also, didn't realize that the the six regions would ever replace the local "news" groups, wasn't exactly what I was thinking when when we discussed the six vs four rally regions. I agree that original smaller state areas was more conducive to local weekend rides etc. Oh well, no perfect solution, we'll get used to it, but might be interesting to sort through all the S Cal chatter to find a Colorado ride. For now its back to PMs.

Also, password protection did make sense for the smaller but not larger groups, since I missed that survey too.

I forgot to write down the contact numbers. Guess I'll just get them from the bathroom stall wall! :)
