This was posted in another thread.

I'll be staying around the motel on Saturday. Keeping scotch in the cook

But as previously posted. Jim "Dooley" has offered to lead a ride on the "Pig Trail"

Who want's to go? Maybe y'all can start making plans.

The Pig Trail is a 19 mile stretch of AR 23. The southern end starts a few miles north of Ozark.
There are several switchbacks on the trail and areas where the road is tree covered.
Although the pig trail itself is short, AR 23 is a nice ride.
This ain't a suggestion, just talking, but riding 23 to 16 then east to Fallsville where you could pick up AR 21.
Riding south to Clarksville would take you on the southern part of the Ozark Highlands Scenic Byway.
From Clarksville you could take AR 103 to 215. The Mulberry River runs next to 215.
That would bring you back to 23 just north of Turner Bend.

Like said I won't be going but thought I'd throw this out there.

I sure hope I'm remembering correctly about Jim's offer to lead a ride up there.
Hope I'm not voluntering him.

Talon's another local guy. Maybe he's got some ideas.

Including the time to get from Van Buren to 23 looks like about 195 miles. Just about right.

depending on how my bike comes out I may hit the bike show
I could do the pig trail on the way home.
i'm thinking on heading home on sat after the BBQ so I wouldn't be able to see any of it if I ride it.
Maybe get a round of golf in on sunday morning

The pig tail is a great ride. I've been on 23 from I-40 up to Eureka Springs. It was a great ride! The day I was on it, there were several sport bikes running through it, but it wasn't a big deal. They didn't bother us and we weren't in their way.

I'm hoping that I can ride over Saturday morning (like Dewey) and meet up with you guys. It's still up in the air for me. I'm trying to see what I can work out.
