2008 Nomad For Sale - AB Canada

2008 Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad 1600 - $5000 CDN (Approx $3,800 US)
After a couple months of riding my new (to me) Honda ST1300 I have decided it's time to let the Nomad go.
A beautiful one-owner bike that has been well maintained since day one. Additional accessories include:
Candy Plasma Blue custom paint and pinstriping
Wide Open Custom fairing
Sony stereo with integral iPod compartment and Polk Audio 4 speaker system
Dakota Digital tach
Kawasaki Fire & Steel driving lamps
Fire & Steel saddlebag top rails
Lower saddlebag rails
Harley TourPak with a quick release solo mount rack
Michelin Commander II tires – 16K on the front and 18K on the rear tire
Bdog custom air intake kit
Dobeck TFI fuel controller
Vance & Hines True Dual pipes
Galfer braided S/S brake and clutch lines
Sage Brush Engine Guard Chaps
Kuryakyn highway pegs
Brake-a-way throttle lock
Avon grips
Progressive 412 rear shocks (1” shorter than stock)
Stebel air horn – 120 dbl (nice & loud!)
Heat Demon grip heaters
Bestem saddlebag liners
And I’m sure that there are a few other items that I’ve forgotten that I’ve added!

I have the bike set up as a solo arrangement but the original passenger pillion seat and sissybar is included if you want to ride two-up. Also included is a brand new Wompus rack to mount the TourPak in a two-up configuration..

The bike has 108,000 km (Approx 67,000 miles). It has been regularly maintained and recorded. Oil changes and minor maintenance I’ve done myself, larger jobs I’ve had a dealership look after. I’ve used Kawasaki synthetic engine oil since 8,000 km.

PM me with any questions or to request more pics.

You're right, Duffy. I thought that it would have sold long ago.

Oh well, if not now, I'll try next spring when hopefully the market is better.

My neighbor was trying to sell an 01' Victory 92C for almost two years. A very good looking bike with some nice aftermarket farkles, 10K miles and only asking $3K. No bites until my nephew came up for Sturgis (along with Charlie, Mo and another couple). He saw it and fell in love, he and his fiance rode up from Denver on a 99' Sportster 1200. I'm not sure how she managed to hang on to the back of that pig. He rode the Vic back and the Sporty is residing in my shop until he gets back up to get it.

BUMP
I still have the Nomad and have relisted it for sale. I debated about keeping it but realize that it just wouldn't get ridden that much and would like to sell it and replace with a dual sport/adventure bike.

I'm open to offers or a trade.
