05 V2K bagger
Hello everyone I wanted to share some pics of my V2K bagger build
I started with a stock 05 V2K Limited. I have lowered, it adapted 09 and up harley bagger rear fender, stretched police hard bags, relocated the rear blinkers to the exhaust holes in the fender and bags, and painted it a gloss black on flat black two tone. I am debating on a 21" spoked front wheel and 12" apes and maybe a batwing fairing. uploadfromtaptalk1403486079471.jpguploadfromtaptalk1403486095124.jpguploadfromtaptalk1403486123394.jpguploadfromtaptalk1403486133504.jpg Login or Register to Remove Ads |

Well done, I will tell you from experience that changing the front wheel is not impossible however it is difficult. I have not found anyone that makes a custom wheel to fit the Vulcans as far as a bolt on application goers that will not run you $1,500.00 plus dollars. I had a vision of what I wanted and tore my 03' down to the frame and rebuilt it as I wanted. What I did was bought items that I wanted to put on the bike and made them fit. My rim is a RC Components 20" made for a Harley that I bought off E-Bay, it was brand new never been mounted. This guy bought it to build a bike but never finished, his loss my gain it retails for $1,600.00 I paid $260.00 then went and had spacers machined to fit mt bike and changed the bearings to match my axle. I also ordered a new wrap around fender. Good luck, this is when it starts getting fun. Below is my Before & After

Vpryder I hear ya on that one. I have the limited as well so there is even less in the way of parts. All of my add ons have been harley. Lucky my neighbor is a harley mechanic and has helped out a lot and I am a fab/welder so some things I can handle building. And I agree this is the fun part. Your ride is nice.

I added a batwing today. I really like the look with the 12 inch bars now I am enjoying the great riding weather once it gets cold I will tear it down and repaint it and clean up the body work uploadfromtaptalk1406080909561.jpg
