Need alternative light
I recently put the clear tail light on and it came with the red bulbs but IMO, the light appears kind of orange. Is there any alternative plug in bulbs that would give me a more red light? Possible an LED?

I can't remember where but I have seen that they make a replacement bulb in an LED for the nomad. I think it might have been on gadjet's page.

You can get them from Signal Dynamics as I recall.
Personally I don't like the white lenses with red bulbs or leds, because they don't show up as well in the daytime. It's a matter of physics. Sunlight is mostly white light, and those lenses look white because they reflect white light very strongly. By comparison, the red light coming through them seems diminished. It's really not, but to the eye it seems to be because the white light is reflected so strongly. Since the red light from the sun (being reflected by a red lens) is less intense than the white, the light reflecting off the lens doesn't wash out the red light coming through it so much. At least that's how it appears to me. |
