Look Who I Found...!!

I finally got to meet in person Mr. Del Bennett....the fellow who bought my old Nomad! He loves it as much as I did. He first ran into another member here who recognized my old bike and gave my number to him. We have traded emails and texts, but this was our first ride together. We rode up to the Conway Pub and Grill where I enjoyed my usual awesome Halibut Burger...!

Del will probably ride a couple days with us heading to Estes, then turn around as he can't make the entire run. It was nice seeing the old ride and knowing it landed in a good home...! Rickyboy will be glad to know he hails from Vancouver, BC and talks funny just like him.... He has dual citizenship and lives about 30 minutes or so from me.

Funny...he looks to be about the same age and size as the kid I sold my Nomad to.

Awesome. I always keep my eyes peeled for my 900 Custom that I sold in 2009 but I have yet to see it anywhere.

Del is a good guy and really LUVS that bike. He is adding chrome in places I never thought to add it....so it has definitely landed in the right hands...! You know...it looked great, but I did not want to cry....just glad it found a great home...and someone to love it like I did...! Pretty cool really....I was able to tell him all about all the service I did to it and all that stuff...and he was very appreciative. I'm sure we will ride more often in the future for sure.....

Its neat when you can find the new owner, or in my case I found the original owner of my bike.
We still chat once in a while about the bikes.
