Name this tool
Enjoy this educational moment in American history.
Can you name this strange old tool? Do you know what it is? Look below, read and learn. Tobacco Smoke Enemas (1750s – 1810s) The tobacco enema was used to infuse tobacco smoke into a patient’s rectum for various medical purposes, primarily the resuscitation of drowning victims. A rectal tube inserted into the anus was connected to a fumigator and bellows that forced the smoke towards the rectum. The warmth of the smoke was thought to promote respiration, but doubts about the credibility of tobacco enemas led to the popular phrase “blowing smoke up your ass.”

I think there are two kinds of people, those who would die to get that treatment and those who'd rather die and not get that treatment.

What say we invest with a Chinese mfg. and mass produce these things. With claims of; 'Now your mind and your ass can float to heaven with that dubie'.

That explains it. At a rally I saw Steve come out of the motel room one morning looking like hell puffing on a stogie. I just assumed he did not get a good night's sleep.
