Posting Images

After having used Photobucket for years I'm looking for another image posting site. Photobucket has gotten very cumbersome for me, failing to upload properly and locking up even though I've used roughly 4 per cent of my allotted space. I couldn't get out of it today after uploading a 500kb image, finally having to to a restart to close the browser.

So, which sites are some of you using? I don't want to select another that I know nothing about so will rely on the recommendations of forum members.

Interesting and thank you. It requires one to get a Yahoo account though. I might give it a try. My son told me about something called Drop Box but I'm not sure it is the same.

Drop box is a place to store files you can access from different computers.
I use dropbox. It requires installing it on the computers you want to have access to the files.
It isn't a place to save pictures you want others to view.
I would also recommend Flickr. You only need to have a Yahoo email to use it.
Storage is huge. I put over 12,000 VBA pictures on it and it has only used 1%.

How long have your had your db account? If I remember correctly, the 3 months have unlimited space for free. After that point the free space is limited to 5 gigs, unless you want to subscribe/upgrade, which a $10 a month for a single terabyte. Just something to consider for some.

Another good cloud storage is Amazon Prime. A lot of people already have prime and don't know that it includes unlimited cloud storage very similar to dropbox. https://www.amazon.com/clouddrive/primephotos

I've had Dropbox for several years. There is a space limit on the free version but I'm not sure how much it is.
Like you said you can upgrade to get more storage.
I don't keep much in there. But there are a few files I work on I like to have access to from both work and home.
But I'm not the type to take work home with me. When I lock the office door I'm done working. Usually.

I'm sure there are a number of other options. Amazon Prime sounds like something to look into.
Not for just working on files but someplace offsite to store them for backup.
Is that the $99 deal they have? Doesn't that includes free music downloads?
I'm not that current on such things. I usually know just enough to get around.

I don't know about music but you get prime movies, books on you kindle and package delivery upgraded to 2 day or so. I didn't know about storage.

It seems I have quite a few options. On Amazon Prime, I've had that for years but for free shipping since we use the service quite a bit. I didn't even know it came with a video service until we got a smart TV and I saw the app. And yes, it seems I did see something about uploading pics. I'll check that out as well as the other suggestions made.

I just tried Photobucket one more time to see just what the heck is going on. It's still a mess locking up. I've tried to delete all my pics and finally gave up.
