South Sport traliers

Have an opportunity to buy a three bike South Sport trailer MTD-3. Anyone have any experience with these?

Nope sorry jayc i don't, but i bought a kennon 1 cruiser bike trailer( very $$) but I love it.

It seems pretty solid. 14" wheels diamond plate floor and fenders. I know the guy, he was selling it for $800 but is letting me have it for 500.

I'm taking it for a test drive tomorrow if I can find my damn ball mount. Guy says I can pay him when I have the $$.

What is a bike trailer for? Surely you don't load a Nomad on a trailer?!?! You must mean the kind you peddal right?

Na, this is only for long trips with time constraints, say Fl or Myrtle. Or if I have to take it to the shop (God forbid) and don't want to worry about having a ride home. I'll still ride to VT for a B&B trip.

Sealed the deal. Took it for a test tow (unloaded). Tracks nice, no bouncing. The guy is gonna throw in a diamond plate tool box for the tongue. I'll be picking it up in about two weeks. Then do a little wire brush and rustoleum touch up.

Tried ridin mine up inside the wifes Durango. Didn't work.
