VOYAGER REVIEW

The jury is still out for me on the 1700, If and when the time comes to change bikes I'll definately take a closer look at it, but it just doesn't jump out at me the way the Nomad did.
Maybe once there are a few of them out in the streets and we can see what guys have done to them, I'll give them some notice.

VOYAGER REVIEW

Thanks for posting that link, Rich. It sounds like the author found very little need for improvement with the Voyager. The AVA group were very disappointed when Kawi revealed the 1700 Voyager. They didn't like that it was a V-twin, so to receive such a favorable review is interesting.

Some of his comments echoed mine that I posted regarding the 1700 Nomad. I wish I could have put 300 miles on it.

VOYAGER REVIEW

Thanks, Rich. Good find. Very happy to hear about the improvements in the plastics, too. I want a full - out touring bike as my next, and like the V-twin design (no particular reason), so this bike will certainly be on my radar as a big contender.

VOYAGER REVIEW

Thanks for the link, Rich. The reviewer did a nice job writing about the Voyager. I won't be getting a new bike for many years, but that blue on the Voyager sure is sharp!

VOYAGER REVIEW

Great link Rich. I am a bit surprised at the positive tone given a lot of the pre-release info and other reviews, but they may not have put many miles on for those.

I think it would be on my list if I was upgrading, but for the price point they want it would have to really stand out to keep me of a H-D Ultra I think, even though the Ultra is a priced even higher.

VOYAGER REVIEW

Interesting to read. Improvements in the plastic was good to hear. Passenger vibrations are a concern.

VOYAGER REVIEW

Thanks for posting the link. I was going to see what they thought about it over on the Voyager board. It is quite interesting that the rider was as positive about it as he was with all the gnashing of teeth that went on when they first revealed the new Voyager. It is definitely on my list for a couple years down the road. The HD is definitely not on my list. Sat on a couple today and just seems a little cramped and for the money, I'd rather have a Wing.

VOYAGER REVIEW

**DROOL**

If they fixed the plastic, this might very well be my next bike. Probably 3 yrs or more down the road though. Great review - thanks for posting the link!
