Motorcycle Intercoms
I am looking into purchasing a intercom system for the bike. I have been looking at the SCADA system. Any comments on this system or other systems that you have used and liked/disliked? You feedback is valuable.
Thanks

I have the SENA SMH10 system -- bought it for our trip to tennessee earlier this fall. have only used it 2 up so i'm not sure what the actual range is, and haven't even tried to use it with a cell phone or MP3 player, but as an intercom it worked flawlessly for us -- plenty of volume at highway speeds and decent sound quality. . .

Another vote for the Scala setup (Ann & I have the Q2 package). Been using it for two years now with little trouble. Like waterman said above, the wind tends to be an slight issue when you both have open-faced helmets. Other than that, they work great. I want to upgrade to their latest units this winter (longer-life batter, et al).

Cindy and I have the Q2. She rides her own bike. I have no problem with the battery life. We have used them for 8 hours and not had them go dead. We just charge them every time we are done for the day.
Cell phone will pair with mine. I have talked while riding and the person on the other end said I was as clear as day. I wear a full face helmet all the time while riding. Cindy wears a 3/4 helmet when it is hot out. There is a slight problem with the wind turning her mic on at times. Nothing that would stop me from reccomending them.
