Caddman left side ?
After installing caddman on right side i decided to do it on the left side (just for the even look) Can i just put the 9x2 filter over the stock filter without hurting anything? Or do i have to do the plate and screw mod? I just put it on there for looks and it fits fine with a tight seal and great looking too! Just needed a longer screw for chrome spectre cover. My ride is a 2007 1600 with debaffled pipes , TFI also caddman on right..... Oh Man what a difference...

Caddman left side ?
Thanks CJ... I was just wondering because on the left side of my 2007 if i leave my K&N D shaped filter in place with the 9x2 round filter over it and the spectre chrome cover holding it all in place. The snorkel is still in between the two (at the bottom) for sucking in the air from the outside and then it goes thru the D shaped filter and then to the right side. I was curious if anybody else did it this way.

Caddman left side ?
Just be sure that the Specter chrome cover is actually contacting the original "D" shaped filter.

Caddman left side ?
It seems to be contacting the D filter snug. I didnt see any harm in doing that, but just wanted to throw that one out there. Thanks for your help guys.

Caddman left side ?
Just make sure the inner K&N filter is still sealing, other wise you may as well run no air filters at all...
