darkside - at least trying
I have read the dark side tire stories with interest. Enough that I ordered a tire from tire -easy.com What a mistake. The website is in Spanish and email receipt also. Over a week and my tire still hasn't shipped and all the people at the information number listed are from India and I can hardly understand them. I have learned my lesson about this company and will never again try to do business with them. Buyer BEWARE. They have good prices though. (you will have to wait to enjoy your purchase.
I still look forward to having a CT on my nomad someday. Login or Register to Remove Ads |

I had a good experience with tires-easy.com, but don't know anything about the company or their record for customer satisfaction.

This might help, I went to discount tire{local} and they told me they would match the price-$77.00 but when they pulled it up on there computer{tire easy} it had gone back to the $130.00 price, so i will wait for the tire easy price to drop again....

I got it for $77 plus $20.47 shipping but as of now(8 days later). My tire still has not shipped yet. Yes they have it in the warehouse but still no action to ship.

Call your bank and stop the payment... Go to tire rack.....
messin with customers these days is a bad deal. and they will go out of buis.... Readers Digest just failed ... Fair point is going to fail very soon and they just bought out Verison here in NH... Lots of folks who didn't put the customer first and foremost are gonna say bye bye... Anyone who wants to stay alive had better cut the fees and put the customer on top..

I finally did receive the tire. Took 9 days but still I did get the tire at $77 Everything is about price and saving money now.
Now if I can just find a dealer or service center that will change a tire. |

You should consider hard doing the swing arm service. The book calls for this at 7,500.
If by chance you have a bad U joint, now is the time to deal with it. Some real grease is well worth the knowing. And new seals. If you don't at least make sure the dealer knows to lube the wheel to grear box spline. I just worked on a leaking pinion seal of the gear box, and this 1500 had a newer rear tire, but the gear box spline to wheel spline was dead dry no grease what so ever when the tire was changed! The gear box side (male splines) were rusting and showing signs of heat! If you don't do this yourself make sure the gear box oil gets changed that they do not over fill it!
