I like mine, got them off ebay. While I know they are knock off's, they installed easily, look nice, and seem sturdy. I like the look, and hope they will save my bags from a scratch or two.

My lower bag rails got bent upward toward the bag when it got punted in parking lot last week, but the bag was protected.

I don't think these rails can take too big a hit though.... Mostly for the look is all...

I have them and don't really like them. One side doesn't clamp down tight enough on the rear spreader bar to keep from sliding. I can't use them when my trailer hitch is installed. They are hanging up in my garage right now.

I have the Fire & Steel rails and they are quite solid on the bike, never been an issue.

I also have the Fire and Steel rails. I have never ever had an issue with these rails. They went on snug and have not moved since the installation. They are on Cruiser Customizing part #KAK-53020-365.

You might cut a small piece of inner tubing to fit inside the clamp and tighten'r down????

I really do like mine. I had another biker clip the back of my bike with his highway peg and if it had not been for the lower bag rails he would of hit my bags, also when I laid down my bike it did help with protecting the side of the bag, it bent the rail up and we had to bend it back down. I wouldn't have my nomad without them.

Mine are strong, have no problems there. I just question how much they will protect the bottom edge of the bags. If you put your bike vertical and look straight down off the sides of the saddle bags, you can't see them, the bags stick out farther than the rails. In the back, that's where they seem to offer some protection---but then again they look great from a side view.
