Dixie Crossroads July 5th

ok...I haven't heard from our Utah rider but the general discussion was to get together next Sunday.

http://www.dixiecrossroads.com/

Here's the link to the restaurant that CoachA suggested. If I get a head count, I'll call ahead to see if they'll take a reservation.

Someone from the west coast can suggest a time since y'all have further to ride.

Depending on the time, I can plan a short ride through the wildlife sanctuary to see the manatee's.

Tammy and I are in. I don't know what time would be good. I guess we should check with Utah about that since he is the guest of honor.

Planning to be there as well. Waiting to hear if/when they will do the left knee surgery. Will be on bike unless they get me in this Thurs and then will roll down in cage if up to it. Let's hope for no rain. Have we settled on a meet up time yet? Looks to be just about 2 full hours for me so anything in the 11AM range or later makes it possible the wife may come along although you should not hold your breath.

I'll be there for sure. Natalie may or may not make it.

I need to call Ron & Tammy this week for a meeting place Sunday Morning.

got a PM from Utah. He plans to arrive at his folks on Friday. He's going to firm up plans and let me know Friday night. I'll post the lunch plans then.

Coot is meeting Leeanne and me at my office 10:30 Sunday for a lazy ride up to T'ville.

I'm here in Titusville now. 12:00 tomorrow sounds great! I might be just a few minutes late, but will be there as soon as I can after 12:00.

See you then.

There you have it folks. Our guest of honor made it!! I'll call Dixie Crossroads for some seats - My group may be a little early, but we know how to visit. After lunch we're going to check out the Manatee's in the Merritt Island Wildlife Sanctuary.

I don't have internet at home so I won't be checking messages until tomorrow morning.

See you tomorrow all,

Jim

It was our pleasure to have you with us. Food was great, the ride over and back was great but the company we had at lunch was outstanding! Thanks to Jim for getting all this together. He came through with flying colors. Somehow I think he's done this before.

Mike found a road that I don't think we knew existed that took us from US 1 to Osteen that was a very nice two lane with no traffic! Plus, we stopped at Friendlys in Eustis for some icey cream...how much better can it get?

Sorry I missed everyone. Hanging out at the house for the entire 4th weekend was bummer. Couldn't go in pool and didn't even get to see fire works. Knee is size of Basket ball today (slight exageration) and scheduled for MRI 1 PM Tuesday. Going to get this thing fixed once and fer all.

Well,

it seems everyone made it home safely - what a great day. The southern group stopped to model our rain gear and rode briefly through some showers. It really cooled down - that felt good!

Clyde went on to Ft Pierce and the rest of us had to stop at a Dairy Queen in Viera for treats.

Jarred, it was great meeting you - have a great adventure on the way back to Utah. Thanks for the tire tips - I'm sure several of us will be changing over soon.

We'll try to get some pictures posted.

Till our next ride in,

Jim and Leeanne
