How Do I Insert A Picture And/Or Text On The Footer Of My Posts?

line
7. Now, in order to use pictures on your footer signature, they must be resized as to not overcome the page when viewed. It is suggested that you have your picture no larger than 350x350 pixels or smaller in size. Your pictures can be resized with any graphics program before uploading to your photo service or server of choice. One such graphic program comes with Windows called Paint. Paint is capable of resizing files and converting them to either .jpg or .gif files if needed.

Also, if you use any pictures in your posts, please resize them to 350x350 pixels or smaller

just a reminder to the new guys. Might help some of us if you can stack your numerous but wonderful pics instead of side by side. That way those of us with small screens don't have to scroll side to side to read the thread.

Thanks in advance for your consideration.

That is good advice and Paint works really good. That is what I used to resize my pics.

Oh well, I just finished rearranging my pictures so they would be side by side. Had them stacked and thought this would take less room and be better like this.

This would be great if you only had three pics. With the four side by side it widens the page so that you have to scroll the page sideways. With one or two stacked the four would be OK.

This isn't a hard and fast rule but it's just more convenient to read the posts without having to scroll the page sideways.

There seems to be a lot of threads that require scrolling back and forth the last little while.
Its not the end of the world but gets to be a nuisance after you do it on a multitude of threads.

I'm just as guilty as the next guy of having a footer pic that's too wide. I have resized mine to no wider than 640 pixels. It was at 800.

Everyone might check the width of their pics and make them 640 pixels wide or less. If you need any help, feel free to yell at me.

I used to pm guys and ask them to resize or rearrange their pics so I didn't have to scroll but with all the new people on here it got to be to much of a pain in the ass.
Now I just scroll and bitch to myself.
thanks for bringing it up skeeter, at least I know I'm not the only one with the problem.
