A couple of things to think about.
When the Canada group was divided into two Regions, Trip asked Rickyboy and I to do a couple of things.
One was to discuss a regional rally with our respective group. So, I'll put that on the table, Would you like to see one?, this summer, next summer?. What are your thoughts?. If there is enough interest, We as a group can start discussing it in a bit more detail. The second item to discuss is a group mascot, or name if you will, something to be known for. Trip will then create a new logo for us once we decide. If you have visited our Western counterparts board, you will see that they have gotten the jump on us and began discussing this. One of the suggestions over there for them is the "North Western Nomads". We could be then be known as the "North Eastern Nomads", or anything else that you come up with. Please post your suggestions and We will then take a vote At the end of January. Thanks CNC

Norm I think next summer is full of bike trips. We should plan a rally in 2011 but the national kawanow is then . Its a long way down the road i think!! As far as a name for us, we should just change the western to eastern and go with that , its in keeping with what ever the western guys/gals come up with.

A couple of things to think about.
Instead of being obvious with east/ west I'd go with sunrise/sunset!
Sunrise nomads for the east and the sunset nomads for the west? ??? Just an idea :) |

A couple of things to think about.
I've been out of town for several days, so I'm just getting a chance to catch up now.
I do like the sunrise / sunset idea also or some variation of that. Maybe work Canadian into the name, what ever it turns out to be? Fish, In My opinion your not butting in, unless of course you try to influence our vote with something like say " The Northern <s>Fish </s> Pike Nomads".

A couple of things to think about.
I think after we have kicked this around for a bit more I'll list the suggestions and We can vote from there. So far there seems to be only about 4 of us taking part in this discussion, come on guys anyone else have any thoughts?
Patches would be nice Donnie. I'll look into it, but our numbers are low, so minimum run numbers and cost could be an issue.

Norm,
Keep checking the "western region" board if we are going to stay the same route and just change the east and west part. We have a couple of possabilities right now. But I'm giving it till the end of the week. early next week before I put it to a vote.

Really I don't think we can call ourself anything too different from our western brothers/sisters.Outher than changing the western to eastern. How could we have a totally different name to go by!! After all we are one!Divided yes ,by direction only.

Shirts and/or another patch for my vest would be great once the rest of us "Easterners" wake up and start posting their thoughts.

A Eastern (Ca.) rally sounds great. Wondering how many members attend Friday the 13th in Port Dover and the Biker Reunion in New Liskeard in July 2,3,&4. Be great to meet up at these runs . I live Brantford, On. E-mail barry.kerrigan@yahoo.com

Hi Chubsey,
It may be little bit yet before we can hold an eastern Canada Nomad rally due to numbers, but if we can keep kicking the idea around and interest grows, We can make it happen. I've never been to either event that you mentioned. Some of Us Eastern Canadians are headed to Lake George for the North eastern Nomad rally at the end of July. Your welcome to join us. Any thoughts on choosing a name for our Group?
