I just looked at where the closest Indian Dealer is. It's over 400 miles away.

The closest one to me was in northern New Jersey. Hopefully they'll have more dealers once the new bikes come out.

It's a free bike Joel... if it breaks-down... you're not out anything.

However, if you decide to fix-it... then the thing is going to cost you like you bought it!!

Just ship it my direction... we have a few within a couple-hundred miles...

I read where Polaris is on an "all-out" push to open dealerships for Indians. They have the store layouts and designs all done. They are in the process now of soliciting people for franchises. We'll see where this goes. In the U.S. the market is not growing as much as the international markets are (which is why HD and others are scrambling to grow in India, China, and etc).

So... Joel... roll-out the big bucks you have stashed away and open your Indian dealership!! Should only cost about $4-5mil for the down-payment to get going on something no one is sure will be around in the next ten-years.

I'm not. I don't care for the styling. Too much flash for my tastes. I DID however buy a Powerball ticket.

I've always liked Indians and the new Indian engine exceeds my expectations, the looks and the basic specifications we know so far. I want to see the 111 ci become a mainstream bike and not something for the elite.

I saw this bike yesterday at an event and liked it a lot:

At Americade the Indian display had several bikes. They even had the 1935 that the
American Pickers sold to a V.P. from Indian at Sturgis (I think) last year.

Now Greg, I didn't say I wouldn't take a free bike. However, until they get a dealer closer I would hesitate to BUY one.

As for the big-bucks, we know that the only one here rolling in dough is you.

I don't like to enter contest where the rules indicate they can call me (sell my unlisted numbers) for a "chance" to win. Give up my phone number address.
